Intercolor Limited will continually develop all areas of the business, including its suppliers to improve our environmental performance, prevent and control pollution, comply with current and impending legislation and, in particular, we will:

• Maintain our lead in the industry by developing our environmental policy in line with latest legislation and available technology.

• Maintain and communicate the highest environmental standards, both within Intercolor and with our suppliers.

• Meet or exceed all current legal requirements applicable, whilst considering all impending legislation.

• Reduce waste to its practical minimum, and promote the use of recycled products where possible.

• Optimise the recycling of both scrap and packaging waste throughout the business.

• Optimise transport to minimise the effects of pollution.

• Continue an on-going energy conservation programme.

Based in West Thurrock, Essex, Intercolor Limited is a local employer and plays an important role in the community. The manufacturing process is continuously reviewed to minimise adverse effects on the local environment. As part of the Company's continued drive towards excellence, we have developed, and are strongly committed to, our Environment Policy.

Recycling of Packaging Waste
It is important that the quality of our product is protected during transport and we therefore protect products within cartons and shrink wrap. However we fully support the

introduction of the Waste Packaging Regulations and therefore continuously strive to reduce packaging waste and promote recycling throughout the supply chain. Where possible all suppliers packaging is either returned to the supplier or reused internally. We will continue to reduce the volume of packaging waste by using new packaging materials which offer similar properties but are environmentally more acceptable.

Continuous Improvement
Everyone in Intercolor has a responsibility for preserving and improving our environment. Regular internal and external Environment Audits ensure that we continually review our processes to ensure that our Environmental Policy is achieved.

We have come a long way but recognise we can achieve more.
